Be a bronzed beauty with 'Seventeen Instant Glow'

Hi ladies! And what a beautiful day, with the sun shining there's even more to smile about!

I have purchased and have fallen so in love with 'Seventeen Instant Glow'. Firstly the beautiful bronzed tones caught my eye and then the price - €6.29!! It's just perfect for summer, wear it alone or over your foundation.

The pigment in the shades are really good, it's easy to apply and they really give a lush bronzed glow. 

With its four layers of bronze shades it's easy to contour and highlight with this shimmer brick, as well as create a bronzed eye look. 

To contour the cheeks take a blusher brush (any kind) and sweep the bristles through the two deeper shades of the shimmer brick. 

Next sweep the brush under the cheekbones and continue to sweep until the product is blended in well. I usually then blend the product further by sweeping the brush up and down to soften the look more. 

I then sweep an angled brush through the two lighter shades of the shimmer brick and apply it onto my cheekbones.

Again sweeping the product back and forth on my cheekbones to blend it. Also sweep the brush up and down to blend all the shades together.  

And that's it- its really easy to achieve, looks good for a bronzed day look or apply some blush to the apple of the cheeks for a night look. 

Also use the shades to create an eye look for day or night wear.

Urban Decay's...Naked Skin Beauty Balm

So ladies, today I purchased Urban Decay's Naked Skin Beauty Balm and........ it's AMAZING!!

So what does it do...

As a BB cream (Beauty Balm) it hydrates, primes, protects, perfects and treats! And the bonus about Urban Decay's BB is that it delivers anti ageing benefits and has an SPF20!

Plus it diffuses light with high-tech pigments to give natural beautiful glowing skin!

Use it on its own for gorgeous skin or under foundation!

Honestly ladies I have been super excited to try this product out! And result...... after cleansing my skin, I applied a small amount to my face and blended it with my fingers. It just glided onto my skin so smoothly and evenly and gave me this amazing  look......Lush! And since I was heading for a walk I decided to just wear the BB cream on it's own- after all I felt fresh and my skin was glowing!

Urban Decay is stocked in House of Fraser, Dundrum and most Debenhams stores. And at Debenhams right now they have 10% off all Urban Decay until Sunday- tempted?!!

I purchased the travel size 15 ml version today in Debs on Henry Street, which I grabbed at a bargain price of only €10.80- it's usually €12! And it's a universal shade that works on most skin tones!

The AMAZING benefits of Coconut Oil....

Wowzers....has anyone else realised that Coconut oil is popping up everywhere lately???

I am a sucker for trying any product that highlights advantages like 'repair' or 'condition'.... So yes I purchased a tub.....and....results so far............AMAZING!

I now use it daily on my skin as a night moisturiser and my skin is glowing...it's softer and well moisturised! What I will say..... is that as an oil-  it has a greasy feel off it, so I personally only use it at night.

The version I purchased is an emollient to nourish, repair and condition the skin, scalp and hair. There are many versions and a lot of them are used as a cooking oil.

Welcome to my new blog!

I have finally plucked up the courage to start my blog! I have a love for make-up and beauty and love sharing my tips and tricks- so what better way?!

My obsession with cosmetics and make-up started when I began working in a pharmacy a few years ago and I was quickly introduced to Smashbox Cosmetics! What an amazing brand... those '6 steps to a perfect canvas'- became my daily regime....(stay tuned for an upcoming tutorial).

I'm just home from Australia after three unbelievable years of sun, sea & ice-cream! But its so true what they say- '.....there's no place like home'.

So here goes to a new adventure! What you will find in my blog is beauty, inspiration & fun!
